Based on subscribers' request, our next film club will feature a live Q&A with Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney, who will discuss his new HBO documentary, The Crime of the Century. The two-part series details the political operatives and corporations behind the U.S. opioid epidemic.
Gibney is the acclaimed director of Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer, Taxi to the Dark Side, and many other films.
