WEEKEND READER: The Far-Right Extremist Tied To The Supreme Court

As the Supreme Court lurches ever more to the right on issues like abortion rights, voting rights, and immigration, there has been little attention devoted to a key player who could have a hand in the shift: Ginni Thomas, wife of Justice Clarence Thomas. As exposed in a New Yorker article that we highlight below, Ginni is a far-right extremist who believes the country is under threat from “fascist left” and “transsexual fascists,” and works with dark money groups with deep ties to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
