Child Care Funding Is Worth It
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress approved $52 billion in funding to alleviate the financial blow and help low-income working families obtain child care. Now a new government report has proved this unprecedented investment in the nation’s youth was worth it. And while many of these pandemic-era programs are set to expire, many states are now prioritizing child care programs in their budgets.
