So, here's one: David S. wants reporting, not editorializing. Not to belabor the obvious, but what is reported upon and particularly how it is presented (see 'Russell conjugation') always begins with an opinion. To be sure mainstream media "news programs" are beyond the pale in this regard, given that 24-hour broadcasting of all news, even with the inevitable selection bias, rather than mostly pure opinion would not be nearly as profitable-- as Sirota points out (or to sponsors liking).
