🍔 Trump’s prosecutor purge. A federal financial fraud prosecutor was dismissed from his job last week while leading an investigation into one of President Donald Trump’s wealthy donors — the former CEO of fast food chain Fatburger, who’s accused of hiding millions in taxable income. Prosecutor Adam Schleifer, who had been at the Department of Justice for nine years, was fired in a single-line email from the White House.
