🏛️ Zuckerberg’s riches take the stand. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified on Monday in a landmark new trial over whether his companies Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp hold an illegal monopoly over social networking — and Lever reporter Luke Goldstein was there. As Zuckerberg took the stand, he was flanked by roughly 40 attorneys from at least four major law firms that are estimated to bill upwards of $2,000 dollars an hour. One attorney on Meta’s side, Paul Clement, is an arch-conservative superlawyer who recently charged a client $2,350 an hour.
