Captive Audience Meetings Are Set Free
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) ruled on Nov. 13 that it’s illegal for employers to call mandatory staff meetings to express negative views on unions. These meetings are referred to as “captive audience meetings” and are designed to dissuade employee organizing and scare workers into voting against unions.
